Beckfoot Trust is an organisation that links a group of local Bradford schools together so that they can collectively improve the life chances for young people within their schools. Our aim is to create a group of truly remarkable schools each with a genuine comprehensive intake. They will be wonderful places for young people to learn and grow up in. We want to make a difference. We want to create something special.

Clubs and Activities

At Beckfoot Phoenix, we want to provide opportunities for learning to continue beyond lessons.

Our Clubs and Activities are led by pupil interest and need.  Whilst supporting families, clubs and activities give children chance to practice what they have learnt in lessons and to learn new skills and make new friends.

Special curriculum weeks - eg. Caring me, Active me, Safe me, Travelling around the World.

In school Clubs and Activities

Lunch clubs offered by Bases, ie.. music, Yoga and mindfulness.

Whole school workshops and parades linked to religious festivals, and curriculum focus weeks.

Special days, eg. World Book day, OBON day (One Britain, One Nation), Children in Need, Comic Relief.

7th Keighley (PHOENIX) Cub Pack

At Beckfoot Phoenix, we are very proud to have our own Cub Scout Pack for girls and boys aged 7 to 12.   Our Cubs meet every Monday 3 til 4 in school with leaders and helpers who work at the school and who are trained to make sure that each Cub is safe and has a fun time.

What do we do? We do everything any other Cub Pack does!

We play games. We make things. We make friends. We walk in parades. We go camping. We have camp fires. We go on adventures - climbing, canoeing, grass sledding. We join other Cub packs in the district for events with other groups . We wear uniform. We take the Cub Scout promise. We work towards Cub Scout badges, following the Scout Association badge requirements at a level appropriate to our children so that just like any other Cub, we have fun and get the best out of Scouting.  If you would like your child to join our group, please contact Helen Denton through the school office.

After school Clubs and Activities

Bike club, Gardening club - these take place in the Summer months
