Keeping Children Safe at Beckfoot Phoenix School
All staff are trained in Keeping Children Safe in Education 2023 - please see link below.
Everyone over 16 working or volunteering at the school is subject to an enhanced DBS check that prevents unsuitable people from working with vulnerable groups including children.
All receive training in Safeguarding, Child Protection and Prevent strategies.
The designated Senior Staff for Safeguarding and Child Protection in school is Sarah Lloyd. The deputy Named Persons are: Gemma Wilson, Jason Patefield, and Tracy Young.
The designated Senior Staff for Preventing radicalised or extremist behaviour is Sarah Lloyd. The deputy Named Person for preventing radicalisation is Gemma Wilson
